I've got a nice nephew to Rabble here. He's not a first strike dog. Short bawl on track, long dying bawl locate, then a steady chop on the tree. He doesn't sound loud but you can hear him a mile plus out here. When he opens you can bet it's a coon and he's going to get treed with the meat a great majority of the time. Once he's treed you can bet he'll be there until you get there. I have a niece to Rabble that is a real nice dog too. She opens quick and is very loud. Big bawl on track, big bawl locate, steady chop on the tree. She hunts hard and is really good about having a coon when she trees and she will be there till you get there. I have a young dog out of these two that got some good from both parents. He goes hunting good, big screaming bawl on track and gets a few first strikes. Fast track dog. Huge locate and then a steady chop on the tree. All 3 have pretty good noses, they move a track very well and put it on a tree. All 3 will tree layed up coon if the coon aren't moving. All 3 are pretty good about having a coon when they tree and stay till you get there. All 3 are far from perfect but I like them.
