Andy called me this morning to say that Reba died in her sleep last night. She was one of the best if not "the best" female Redbone that I have ever had the pleasure of hunting with. Reba was a super fast track dog and a quick hard accurate tree dog. You don't get that combination all in one dog. I have seen her catch more coons on the ground than any other dog. She was deadly in a corn field. If you never got the chance to hunt with Reba, then you really missed out on seeing a great coonhound at work. Reba was the high scoring Redbone at the UKC World Championship twice, placing 15th in 2008 and 12th in 2011. Reba fell out of a tree last year and broke her back which ended her hunting career and her run at a third UKC Championship. But she was bred to Gr Nt Ch Dark Timber T-Top Moose in July and Andy and Adam have 3 pups to carry on her name.

To here that, Richard when you get such a determined red as she was to get a coon & almost end her own life, by falling out of a tree
they were luckey to get pups out of her , at all Brian Sanders -Ia had a full bro, to Reba also he died a yr & half ago also & the father died of old age a few mo. back he was= Gr. Nt. Arnold"s Red Warrior
Reba sure left her mark as one of the GREAT"S IN THE REDBONE

Thanks for posting that picture. It is a great one of the whole "team". We have decided to name that third pup, Ashviews In It To Win It Lil Joe. He seems to be very smart but has a big mouth and barks all of the time. We will call him, "Professor".

Lil Reba is alive and in Wisconsin at "Hillbilly" Bruce Schooley's house the last I heard. One of the males hurt his leg as a pup and was turned into a pet and I don't know what happened to the other. Andy all but quit after Reba died.
