Alpha problem
Anyone heard that hunting close to train tracks or towers will make the shocking system go off on alpha had a buddy said his started shocking his dog when a train went by said he called garmin and they said it was possible that a train or a tower could set them off said send it back and for 75 dollars they would fix it where it wouldn't go off. I really don't know if it is really true or not but if it is that's a big problem.

This sounds like one of those stories that should be checked out before too much bashing is done.
quote:tI don't know who they talked to at garmin but it did happen I don't know if train did cause it or a defect in system but time will tell I love mine wouldn't use anything else but if that is a problem it does need corrected. If it did happen it should have happened to more than just one system could just be a defect in collar but he said there were plenty of towers around tracks also.
