Alpha problem

Anyone heard that hunting close to train tracks or towers will make the shocking system go off on alpha had a buddy said his started shocking his dog when a train went by said he called garmin and they said it was possible that a train or a tower could set them off said send it back and for 75 dollars they would fix it where it wouldn't go off. I really don't know if it is really true or not but if it is that's a big problem.

What I'd like to know is if garmin knows this and can fix it,,why isn't it fixed before they sell it,,why does it take sending it back to fix it,,,oh I know,,it's the $75.00 dollars,,that's why

This sounds like one of those stories that should be checked out before too much bashing is done.

tI don't know who they talked to at garmin but it did happen I don't know if train did cause it or a defect in system but time will tell I love mine wouldn't use anything else but if that is a problem it does need corrected. If it did happen it should have happened to more than just one system could just be a defect in collar but he said there were plenty of towers around tracks also.
