Housetraining a redbone pup

Our pup is almost 4 months old. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old and have been trying to crate train her. We have followed all the suggestions of the vet and the dog training info we have found online, and she still is not trained. She doesn't mind wetting her sleeping area and sometimes seems to wet herself even without standing up! She has been vet checked and is physically healthy. I would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks.

How big is her crate? Make her crate smaller, pretty much just make it so she can lay down and turn around comfortably, that's all they need. If she is going potty in her crate, odds are that she doesn't see it as her sleeping area. Also start taking her out more often, reward her for going potty outside, and I don't mean just a pat on the head and a "good girl". I mean make it a huge deal and treats.
And a 4 month old still may not know fully when she has to go or how to hold it. Remember a 1 year old dog is about equivalent to a 7 year old child. So a 6 month old is equivalent to a 3 and a half year old, so your 4 month old pup is rightly about two years and 4 months in people years

LIFE IS A ROUTINE

Lets start..when she gets up in the am ...when you let he out of the crate..bring her out side to.. pee....tell her ..( go pee)... when she does..prase her.... (good girl).... excitingly....after a while you will be able to have her go on camand ....like before you take her for a ride in the car .to the vet or were ever...as for a bowel movement ..usuly happent after eating food..bring her out side after eating and tell her to go... poo..after a while she should learn what poo and pee comands are...also dogs usually have to use there noises to trigger there brain to go, they small uren and will want to go there to put there sent down...
PATIENCES & REPETITION...giving her water before bed time may make her wet...take her out side to go pee ..before bed time...as time passes she will let you know.. that she has to go out side to do her bussiness
My 2 Cents
