Use super diamond clear high gloss works great you can only buy from concrete supplier

I used composite decking for mine... but I would.

Make sure you get a slick finish on the concrete. If pyossible, use a power trowel on it. A slick finish is much easier to clean than a broom or a rough finish. Sealer would be ok.

I wouldn't go too slick, makes it slippery when wet for the dogs and you might even find yourself on your back if you get snow.

Dont have much snow down here, just rain! Didnt think about that.lol !! I would still want it fairly slick for cleaning purposes.....

Posted by Fred T on 08-06-2013 05:15 AM:

What would be the purpose of sealer?

Posted by Tom Jones on 08-06-2013 04:46 PM:

what it says

its just a sealer to keep out excess water and contaiminents from seeping into the concretes porus surface..............I cant see any reason to spend the extra money for it on your kennel.

I didn't have sealer on my old kennel floors and it seems like over time the urine started to cause small pockets to form.
