concrete sealer on kennel floor?

Getting ready to build new kennels and wanted to see what most people do.SEALER OR NO SEALER on the concrete?

a sealer contracter rolled it on....blue color

Make sure you get a slick finish on the concrete. If pyossible, use a power trowel on it. A slick finish is much easier to clean than a broom or a rough finish. Sealer would be ok.

I wouldn't go too slick, makes it slippery when wet for the dogs and you might even find yourself on your back if you get snow.

what it says

its just a sealer to keep out excess water and contaiminents from seeping into the concretes porus surface..............I cant see any reason to spend the extra money for it on your kennel.

I didn't have sealer on my old kennel floors and it seems like over time the urine started to cause small pockets to form.
