help...rare registration issue

I guess theres a first for everything.... I gave a dog to a close friend who was insteucted to pick up paperwork from the breeder and he did so. Ive been by plenty of times to see the dog and how she has matured. The last time I was over I asked him for paperwork and he pulls out the green temp card!!! He never mailed it in! At this point the dog is 2 year s old. I am still in contact with the breeder/owner of litter and im the owner of the sire. Is there anything I can do to get paperwork? I assume your talking about UKC Pup Papers? If so call UKC @ 269-343-9020 and ask for Registration Deptartment. Sounds like you have all the parties needed to take care of this. Also, you can click onto "FORMS" on UKC Home Page. You may find the form you need. Good Luck.

If they are the puppy papers you can send them in but they will cost you $40 since the pup is over a year old. Just fill it out like you would normally and registration will get it taken care of.

In the old days the papers "expired" after a dog turned a year old. Now, they just go up in fees. It's a little more expensive than when the pup was under a year old, but not impossible to get the papers.
