Year old pup had been treeing his own coon since he was 8 months old and all the sudden ill cut him n hell go hunting like always but never make a bark watch the Garmin and looks like hes working a track then he gets to a spot n will work all around that area then come back. Did this the past 2 nights ive had him out never had trouble with trash but done know if he might b working a possum or something up n wont open I cut him n a field full of deer last night n he ran past them and worked around n a creek for bout a half hour then I called him out.

He might have got something in his throat and scratched his throat. Try giving him some honey for a week or so. Good luck with him.

Could be something physically wrong with him, that you can't examine or diagnose yourself and he doesn't really show symptoms of; for example something wrong with his throat, ears, nose, etc. I would take him to a vet for a check up just in case.
If nothing is physically wrong with him, I'd maybe lay him up for a few days, maybe even a week. Especially if you have hunted him hard since he was young. Pups and young dogs will sometimes come on like wild fire and then peter out, due to being over worked. Sometimes they are just fatigued, others get a little burnt out, or bored. At a young age they are yet to fully mature physically, they get tired and sore just like us. So a little rest and recharging maybe all he needs.

he might not be smelling a coon so he dont bark. i bet if you turn him loose on a hot track he just might go to barking.
