why some men have dogs instead of wives

WHY SOME MEN HAVE DOGS AND NOT WIVES

1. The later you are, the more excited your dogs are to see you.

2. Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.

3. Dogs like it if you leave a lot of things on the floor.

4. A dog's parents never visit.

5. Dogs agree that you have to raise your voice to get your point across.

6. You never have to wait for a dog; they're ready to go 24 hours a day.

7. Dogs find you amusing when you're drunk.

8. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.

9. A dog will not wake you up at night to ask, "If I died, would you get another dog?"

10. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad in the paper and give them away.

11. A dog will let you put a studded collar on it without calling you a pervert.

12. If a dog smells another dog on you, they don't get mad. They just think it's interesting.

13. Dogs like to ride in the back of a pickup truck. And last, but not least:

14. If a dog leaves, it won't take half of your stuff

WHAT why would some one want there wife to go hunting. I thought that was what hunting was. Hunting a place you can't here the whine. A good coon dog just gets the left over out of your head. You must be newbies. lol

lol YEP, not able to get the e- collar on them is one BUT the above one is the bigest reason. The dog doesn't leave with half your stuff when it leaves. I have split my stuff down the middle 3 times and didn't have that much to start with.

My wife says i care more about my dogs than i do her. Thats not guite true i tell her, almost, not guite. My dog love me no matter how i talk to them or treat them and they dont talk back. Wife is alwright with this i guess she is still here 15 yrs later. Ha Ha. As far as take her with me coon hunting she wont go. Took her fishing one tme stayed from sun up till sun down and she hasnt been back. It is all in how you start them. Ido love my wife, we just hve a good understanding.

Funny...those are a lot of the same reasons I'd almost rather have my hounds than a husband! I have to say "almost" since at least he'll hunt with me every now and then.

if i had started off where i am now, i'd have never gotten married. i love my wife and she's a good one. we've been married 35 years. at this point in my life, being 61, i can't see myself starting over again with any woman. whatever my dogs can't do for me, i can do for myself.

she read my post and said i have known for years the 4 legged bitch means more to you than i do ,you spend more time in the woods with her than you spend with me. she really got pissed when i told when i die cremate me and if my dog dies after me mix our ashes and sprinkle our ashes where we hunt,her answer to this was ,what spend money cremating you ablack garbage bag and a twist tie is all your getting

Wayne.... Your wife sounds like a keeper...lol! Please tell me you sleep in a different room with the door locked. I have to admit the garbage bag does seem economical though.
