may be looking to get a 1 dog system.....just pleasure hunting and dont think i will need a LONG RANGE tracking unit.....whats the best bang for the buck ?

so whats the deal with these "wild life" systems im seeing sold used for 160 bucks......are they legit?....i know those are not gps, but are they worth a darn?
