1 dog tracking system

may be looking to get a 1 dog system.....just pleasure hunting and dont think i will need a LONG RANGE tracking unit.....whats the best bang for the buck ?

what kind of $$$ are these units.......i see so many and the price varies so much,whats the difference?

so whats the deal with these "wild life" systems im seeing sold used for 160 bucks......are they legit?....i know those are not gps, but are they worth a darn?
