Garmin issue

I dropped my Alpha handheld in the woods the other day. I didn't see it hit a stump or anything.Now there's lines running across the top of the screen as if the screen is broken. Anything to do for it or will Garmin stand behind their 4 month old unit

Garmin told me warranty doesn't cover physical damage/abuse. With that said, I would call them and say you didn't know what happened, it just messed up. Send it back and they might charge you and they might not.

Called Garmin, they said it was pixel damage in the screen. They exchanged it free of charge!
