Ratt and cookie winners them selfs seen cookie put on a clinic one week end thats when I new I wanted a pup off her couple guys that have won trucks and world hunts told me about her one night so I knew the nights i seen here was no fluke

I sure wish I had gotten to hunt with Cookie. From what I have heard she might have been the best dog out of Outlaw Billy the Kid. Scott Grove is still hunting a couple females who go back to her....
One out of The Red Rocker who goes back to Cookie through Kate and a young female directly out of Billy the Kid on top and Breanna on bottom and Breanna is directly out of a half brother / half sister cross and both were directly out of Kate. That breeding sure has produced a long list of winners and looks like it will continue on in the generations to come. It's good to see information like this on some of the most influential dogs in the redbone breed for those who may have started after these dogs have passed on. Good thread Danny

3 X kate pup

Took Kate out for her first real coon hunt last weekend, in heat nov. She would leave my old dog and go 350 plus by herself, I know that don't seem that far away, but I hunt in the most rugged area in western N.C. Didn't get a coon,but never had a pup that would get out by herself the first nite like this one. I think I might have a KEEPER.(3X KATE) BIG D X MYSTERY

I have a male out of aftershock and amber so that makes him a grandson and a great grandson to kate on top and bottom top strike dog and steady tree dog....may be hearing more about him in the future

Kate is also the Grandmother on the bottom of my Nt.Ch. Outlaw Infamous Amos dog and is the Great Grandmother of my Nt.Ch. Outlaw Billy Jean female.
Kate is passing those dominant traits on even further down the line as well in great grand pups like Cherry Bomb, Grace, Breeze, and several more we will be seeing turn up in the winners circle in the future.
Kate made her mark on the redbone breed not only as one of the all time biggest winners in competition, but also in her ability to reproduce the same in her pups and grand pups. She is one of the all time greats of the breed and one who's impact will be felt for many years to come in my opinion.

I have a female I call little Kate that was born on 11 / 3 / 11. She started treeing feeder bucket coons by herself at 9 mnths old. She needs 1 more good kill season before she will be ready for the hunts. She is a very nice tree dog that can spit them out. She is for sale & I will show her any night at national days. She is not cheap but a very nice young dog with the right blood. Heading out Monday for Ohio.
