John Wicks Bloodline?
About a week ago I posted this for my brother n law Millford73,
http://www.ukcdogs.com/forums/showt...;threadid=41895
He just recieved his papers on Tug River Anne. I would like to hear about these lines, and the 2 dogs with the Wick's name.
I am making an online ped now and will post shortly.
The dogs I would like to hear about are:
GR NiteCH 'PR' Wicks Stylish Banjo
'PR' Wicks Ozark Missy

Sire and Dam of Schemrsal's Stylish Queen and several other outstanding reproducing hounds.
Stylish Banjo was sired by a dog named Greggs Banjo Style. This is touted to be the birthplace of the "Stylish" tag that is given to many walkers today.
Missy is a daughter of Brinkley's Ozark Preacher. Preacher was touted to be an "off colored" hound.....hence the term "Preacher colored" hound. (these hounds had a gray cast to them)
Queen's Roots go deep in the "stylish" line(s) of hounds. She was bred to some of the outstanding studs of the time. She olny had 21 pups in her lifetime, GN6, N5, GS1.
Some offspring of Queen's:
Wager's Stylish Lipper (by House's Lipper)
Korte's Stylish Chirpee (by House's Lipper)
Lipper's Stylish Babe ( by House's Lipper)
Hardwood Patch (by Owens Hardwood Bozo)
Hardwood Dolly (by Owen's Hardwood Bozo)
I am sure that there are more, but those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Each of those dogs went on to produce some very heavy influence in the walker breed.

I heard that JW culled Missy not long after Queen's litter was weaned and considered doin' that one of his worst mistakes as a breeder.
Missy had never won anything.....titles are not everything!

The Stylish Box dog got second in the UKC world hunt one year. He was a pretty nice dog. Not a very good looking hound. This dog you are asking about looks as though she may have been raised in Mississippi.
