Stylish Banjo was sired by a dog named Greggs Banjo Style. This is touted to be the birthplace of the "Stylish" tag that is given to many walkers today.
Missy is a daughter of Brinkley's Ozark Preacher. Preacher was touted to be an "off colored" hound.....hence the term "Preacher colored" hound. (these hounds had a gray cast to them)
Queen's Roots go deep in the "stylish" line(s) of hounds. She was bred to some of the outstanding studs of the time. She olny had 21 pups in her lifetime, GN6, N5, GS1.
Some offspring of Queen's:
Wager's Stylish Lipper (by House's Lipper)
Korte's Stylish Chirpee (by House's Lipper)
Lipper's Stylish Babe ( by House's Lipper)
Hardwood Patch (by Owens Hardwood Bozo)
Hardwood Dolly (by Owen's Hardwood Bozo)
I am sure that there are more, but those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Each of those dogs went on to produce some very heavy influence in the walker breed.
Hardwood Patch sired the dam of my Red Eagle Thor. Do you have any pictures of that stud? I would appreciate any that you could share.
