found the answer to the bullit shortage

talked to a guy who is a competition shooter yest.who works in a store that sells guns and ammo and he said DHS Department Of Homeland Security buys ammo in 5 year contracts. Then they get them delivered year by year and then renegotiate the contract again 5 years later. This last year they wanted all 5 years delivered in this year period at one time.

Well, well, well guess what. Just saw on Glen Beck yesterday who the buyer for DHS was and was responsible for purchasing the bullits for them. he is a radical racist who said he was from africa who was running a website called WOH War on the Horizon and said there would be killing in the streets.


The website was taken down today. saw it yesterday when it was first reported so dont go saying it was a conspiracy theory. I saw it myself. This world has gone slap crazy.

Our Government is out of control. when asked about him having this kind of website his bosses responded that if they found out it was true that would follow up on it.!!!!!!!!!

If it is true? I saw it for myself. let alone millions of others who get glen beck. You need to call and get rid of direct tv and get dish and ask for ch. 212. It is the last place on the earth right now where you will get the absolute truth.

stay informed people. I dont trust any news program, but at least with Glen you can get some sort of truth that you can make decisions on.

You would think these dern ammo companies could get caught up. Beats all I ever saw. Everywhere here has a limit on how much you can buy. Still can't find any. When I do find some at normal price. Think I'll buy about 5000 rds of .22 just so when the next anti gun foreign president gets elected. I can still kill some coon.

Don't believe the ammo shortage is related to this guy though.

I haven't tried to buy any ammo lately . But when I was in the service we did some training with .22 rifles and pistols,even instinctive shooting with BB guns . To tell you the truth all I know is what you guys post about the ammo shortage .

Fleet Farm near my house had a pretty ample supply of .22 shells last week when I was out there. They had a sign limiting to 3 boxes per customer. Didn't buy any as I have plenty.
If there really is a shortage it goes to prove the shortcomings of our current capitalist system. Seriously, how could they not ramp up production to handle demand? This was just a marketing scam pulled off on a bunch of gullible people....

I don't see how its a scam really. I mean the prices in stores have not went up. Yes their really is a shortage. Look in every store in Ga lol.. Look at midsouth shooting supply or anywhere else you can find. No. 22 ammo. Most 9mm is hard to find also. 223 you can forget that. Along with any other rifle caliber like a ar-15. 308 ain't many of them either.

cci,remington,winchester,hornaday,etc,etc,
they all shoot different!!
when the govt. buys or has something made,they go with 1 company.
there is a company near me that makes steering shafts for military vehicles.have been doing it for years!

there is a big 'scare' going on.there making big bucks from it.

just like when theres a hurricane.gas prices go up.even though the usa has enough stored to last 10 years if we stopped getting oil today!!

Sounds to me locals gouging customers, because it doesn't sound to me that their ammo suppliers are charging them any more. I bought some ammo from Fleet and Farm and some from Walmart for the same price I paid before the shortage I don't think that they are selling for a loss.
