Georgia deserves to be playing for the NAT just as much as us Gamecocks. Of course I guess LSU deserves to be playing with 2 loses. Heck this BCS crap is screwed up.
WHAT WAS THE FINAL SCORE ON LAST NIGHTS GA VS HI GAME

Buckshot your hard on them Ga. fans today. lol
I think this may be the worse year ever for bowl games and match ups.
I wasn't tickled to see Mich. beat Fl. yesterday but I was very happy for the Mich. quarterback and some of his receivers. They had a game of a lifetime and will remember it always.
Buckshot has it right! Georgia didn't earn the right to play in the National Champ. game, but the BCS still is screwed up by ranking Georgia ahead of Ten. and LSU in the polls knowing Georgia could not make the play offs unless one of these lost their last regular season game. Georgia had a very young team that "came of age" late in the season and probably was one of the top five teams (based on playing level late in the season) in the nation. The early loss to SC and the Tenn. loss (injuries, set aside) are part of the sport. Its no different than drawing out on a cast sometimes that doesn't win due to poor conditions or thin coons. Like it or not, some luck is always part of sports.
I am proud of the SEC teams in the bowls this year, but all of the games have to have a win and a loser. Georgia's 41 to 10 whipping of Hawaii proves one thing, Georgia was the better team last night. Go Dawgs!

I want to see UGA play for a Championship as bad as anyone, but they GOT exactly what they DESERVED. You have to start playing ball in September, not the middle of October. To lose to a joke team like South Carolina won't help an argument. True, last night, Georgia looked like they could have beaten any team in the country, but the fact is, they had every opportunity to have an unbeaten season and the lack of discipline and seemingly uncaring attitude they displayed against South Carolina and Tennessee came back and bit them in the rump. Maybe next year they'll play ball ALL season, not just the second half.
I am a UGA Fan and love Georgia football as much as anyone. However, when you lose two conference games in the way they lost them, its hard to argue for them to be in the national championship. LSU did lose two games both in OT and didn't put on a slack performance in either game really. In the South Carolina game, the High scoring offensive player for Georgia was the kicker. That doesn't say alot on behalf of a BCS bid. And the Tennessee game was almost like they missed the bus to even show up. I hope they learn from it and play ball every game for four quarters next year. I did disagree with the selection of their opponent being Hawaii in the sugar bowl based on the strength of schedule factor. There was no real glory to be gained for UGA at this game. If you win, well you beat a team that didn't play anybody to speak of all year. If you had lost, well you were beaten a team that didn't play anybody to speak of all year. I was glad to see them win big, but would have liked to see a reputable opponent for them. The BCS is really an oddity in the way they select teams. You don't have to be SEC champs for example, to get to the national championsip game according to their rules, but even so it ain't goin to happen that way. Oh well, it was another win and the sun is shining yet again in Bulldog Country.

Yep they got beat early by a couple of NOTHING teams!! Its GA fault they are not playing for the NC... That game last night was a joke!!!!!!! June Jones LOL!!!!!!! I'd hate to see the teams hawaii beat to make it to 12-0.... They will however.MORE THAN LIKELY... BEAT Florida in the opener next fall!!!!!!!!!!!! Florida played almost as bad as they did yesterday. Disgrace to the SEC letting MICH beat them like that....

LOL!!!! I'm looking forward to this year... Pretty much every team in the SEC is a top rate team. Dern near any of them could have beat Hawaii.. Well maybe not Florida!!!!!!
YEAH I HATE TO SAY IT . BUT I THINK GA WILL HAVE A GOOD SEASON NEXT YEAR........AND YOU"LL NEVER HERE ME SAY THAT AGAIN.DANG I CANT BELIEVE I SAID IT THEN...
LMAO!!!!! I think they should have 2 great seasons now... You never know. The pressure might get to them..
If they can keep some key players healthy, Georgia should be hard to handle for any of them. On top of that they do a great job recruiting each year and will have added depth next season. The Durham kid (#16) came from up here in Calhoun. I used to watch him in high school ball up here and he is every bit as tall and lanky as he looks on TV. Calhoun's QB loved it cause he could just hang it up high anywhere near that kid and he'd grab it. GA Dawg, I do hope The big "T" has one coming next year as well. They will have to dance between the Hedges this time and I have a feeling UGA will be the one playing the music. Stafford will be even more competent and Moreno will hopefully still be pumped up. Only losing Velasco on that big Offensive line will make a huge difference too. I do see where Sean Bailey and Mikey Henderson graduating will put a small gap, but that'll be easy enough to fill with some young talent. After all they are more of a running team. I like that to. Good ole smash mouth football. Line'em up with two tight and get after it.

That is exactly why I say if you are a TRUE fan, you have to be a realistic fan. That is why I think South Carolina is a joke team and has very few real fans. Every year they go into the season preaching about how they should win the national championship, but if you've ever been to a Carolina game, if they're losing at the end of the 3rd quarter, the stands start emptying.Every Carolina fan I know swears that Spurrier is gonna lead them to the promise land, but even he has admitted that he's got the worst recruiting and has to get every one else's left- overs, and that all he accomplished by coming to Carolina was ruining an otherwise resectable coaching career (same thing Lou Holtz said). I love Georgia- I went to Georgia, but I have to say that the worst beatings Georgia takes are invariably delivered by GEORGIA- not the other team. Did the better team win when Georgia played Tennesse or South Carolina? Of course not (my opinion), but at the end of 60 minutes, all that counted was who had the W and who had the L.
