That foul that sent Wall to the line with 1:30 left in OT was the worst I have seen this year. No one touched him!


Edited to add: That the second one that sent Wall to the line with 44 seconds left was a borderline call. He did get hit slightly on the wrist, not sure that you call that with under a minute left though.

Looks like they will get out with a win.

Wonder what all the UK fans that were bagging on the Jayhawks for their close road win Monday night will have to say about this one. Just goes to show that NO road game is an easy game in conference. The top teams in the country always get the other teams best effort.


Edited to add: Classless Miss. St. fans at the end of the game. I hope some REAL fans had some words for the *ssholes that were throwing bottles on the court at the end/after the game. No reason for that.

If there leading scorer would have played, Ky. would have won by 25 or 30. They where just goofing off.

That was the WORST officiating I have seen in 5 minutes of basketball all year. I hope all those officials get hate mail for weeks. They blew 4 calls that handed Kentucky a win. They are paid to do a job and they all clearly failed.

How do you miss a goal tend that was that obvious? Purposly that's how. How do you not call a foul on the drive late in over time? Even though the guy made it he should have been shooting a free throw with a chance to put his team ahead as he got hammered. Then they call a CRAP foul on Mississippi States' guy saying he bumped Cousins and gave him a and 1.

Then both fouls on Wall were blown. Good acting job on his part however.

If I was a fan I would have done the same exact thing.

Wonder what the game would have been like with Mississippi's leading scorer.

I can't believe how many push off's Cousins gets away with under the basket. Wait til he has to guard Onauku form Syracuse or Pena from Villinova. He will get a wake up call.

Where is my main man Chiggers? I want to hear his breakdown of the fine game Kentucky played last night.

I have to disagree on the superstar calls that wall and cousins got, but then again i never like placing all of the blame on the officials yeah no doubt calls make a difference down the stretch but so do missed shots, turn overs and boards in the first half. They had the opportunity to win the game. Kentucky pulled it out.......

Travis, I agree with you however not calling a goal tend that was that obvious can cost a team a win or loss.

That one blown call turned it from what should have been 1 point game into a 5. HUGE difference.

i didn't think the goal tend was that obvious. i didn't realize it until they played it back in slow motion.

they was alot of missed calls on both teams. i think the refs should have let them play, instead of being so picky.
