UK definitely has the toughest road to the final four.

Texas in the second round and the best #2 seed in the tournament in WVU.

On the other hand I guess they had to give Duke a cakewalk to make sure Coach K doesn't get sent home early again as has been the norm in the last couple years.

Kansas got a pretty tough bracket considering they are supposed to be the #1 overall seed.

IMO the top two teams got the two toughest brackets.

they hosed a lot of teams they were very dumb with their seedings this year. I am ut fan and they should have had a 4 no worse than 5 seed. The only team to beat two #1's this year and they get a 6 in the toughest bracket.

I believe they have a bias against ut they shafted them last year too by giving them a 8 seed.

They were a lot of questionable seeds and they have big biases.

I hope the Sec does good. I am Ut fan and not just whinning about seeding if you look at body of work its crazy.

If UT and UK get knocked out I hope New Mexico or West Virginia win it all.

I just do not know about the committee its nearly as bad as the bcs.

So many things to disagree with in this post I don't know where to start.

Saying our freshmen played poorly in the SEC tournament has to be someking of joke.

Here is our 3 freshmen's averages for the tournament.

Cousins 12 pts and 11 reb
Wall 18 pts, 6.7 ast, 7.7 reb, 2 stl
Bledsoe 15 pts 4 reb 2 ast 2 stl

Not too bad if you ask me.

I want even get started on the how overrated Villanova is with that bunch of guards and no big men to speak of. IMO the Big East has 3 legitimate championship contenders, WVU, Georgetown and PITT. No way Villanova wins a title relying on all those guards and small forwards jacking up jumpshots all game long.

As for UK we are young and we do some stupid things at times but in the end we have John Wall and there isn't anyone else in the country I would want leading my team coming down the stretch of a close game.

PS. The NCAA selection committee pissed Cousins off with the teams in our bracket so don't be surprised if he comes out and just takes over ballgames like he is capable of. There is no one in the country who can guard him one on one. Even Miss St. triple teamed him every time he touched the ball with Varnardo guarding him.

It's pretty sad when Bledsode is the only person on youre team who can hit jump shots and he isn't good at them either. Several games this year he has been 2 of 6 or 1 of 6.

The only thing UK is good at is out sprinting the other team, that's something to boast about.

No but missing jumpshots doesn't hurt near as bad for a team that rebounds HALF OF ITS OWN MISSED SHOTS.

He won't have to guard either of them. Well put one of our other lottery pick and ALL SEC defensive first team player Patrick Patterson on them. Not to mention we have two more big guys coming off the benchin Orton and Stevenson.

There are two reasons that Villinova lost 5 out of 7. First reason was Coach Jay Wright wanted to give some playing time to there 5 freshmen to get them experience and plus they were just playing great teams. I can't take away anything from the top 8 Big East teams they are all capable of beating anybody. Villinova has just been getting out played the last couple of weeks. They will be back on track for this tournament though, I assure you.

I know its not gonna happen and im not saying this because im a buckeye fan but I feel like Evan Turner is the best player in the country hands down. After what he came through this season and still perform at the level he has

No doubt Turner makes or breaks Ohio State but so does every other player. That's what happens when you have no bench.

I am picking Oaklahoma State over Ohio State in the second round game.

Evan Turner will definatly get Player of the Year however he still tries to dribble the ball between 3 defenders. He had 11 turnovers against Illinois and they aren't even doog. He had 4 or 5 against Minnesota as well.

If Scotty Reynolds for Nova had the freedom that Turner had he would average 30 points a game. The thing about him though is he doesn't need to score 30 points for his team to win. The championship teams don't revolve around 2 or 3 guys but 5. Look at Kansas they have 5 good players as well as Syracuse and Georgtown and Villinova.

I have not accepted anything, I am Dissapointed that they gave Duke a 2 seed that should be a 4 Seed, but I knew they would give villinova a 2 seed, I just wish they were in our Bracket. But in Reality Kansas deserved villinova as a 2 seed in their Bracket, They are the No. 1 Team, and villinova as a 2 seed is the COLDEST Team in America, Losing 5 out of its Last 7, WHAT A JOKE !
