Per your description of events, you should not have been scratched for what would be considered a "non-violation or infraction of the cell phone policy".
UKC's cell phone policy, in relation to nite hunts, is quite simple. You may not "discuss scores" (texting included) with a member(s) of another cast. !
If I get beat by a guy that can play poker AND keep track of 4 hounds, and run the time and keep the scores straight all at the same time. I'm going to find a new hobby, because these coonhunters have got WAY to smart for me.
A quick bite on a stick of gum has saved me more minus than I can count.

Ahh the redbone hunter speaks his words of wisdom. I can promise you this stoke. When I show up to a hunt im there to win and you can bet that i'm packing a coon dog or I wouldn't waste my time and money. What works for some people may not work for others, just like which breed you prefer. No offense taken though stoke![]()

I will personally invite you down to the winter classic to go hunting after any night of hunting...My redbone and my buddys male and what ever you bring...turn the dogs loose by theirself and by the end of the night who has the most coons will have the better dog...And just to prove to you that my Redbone can and will out do your holstien...Now if you say no to this people will start thinking bad upon you...hahaha...If you are a big as comp. hunter as you say it shouldnt be no problem...or do you even hunt
I used to hunt walkers buddy got tired of walking to slicks...and yea Lady she is just seven months old and Ruger has only been in two hunts...and should have won the cast but handler error...Yea im not afraid to say i mess up...and you are such a big comp.hunter why dont you come to the Winter Classic...This aint the first time somebody has called you out...and youve mad excuses every time...
I hunt whatever but have always had a real good walker. I think if you walked to too many slick trees you were just hunting the wrong line of walkers. A good switch works on all breeds for slick treeing. It is not a question of breed as much as the line and the trainer. Not saying nothing about you just in general. Sounds like a challenge so you guys come up here to North Carolina and I will guide ya'll on unknown ground. Make it real even. We'll sell tickets and see what happens.

come to the Winter Classic and i will take you after that...Gives you an excuse to do it any way
Stoke I don't have money to just trow around and going to the winter classic would be just that. The luck of the guide determines everything. Im not spending 200 or 300 $ to get a terrible guide. Thanks for the offer though
must not have a good enough dog then cause i come to Autumn Oaks every year and going to grand american in a few weeks...i have trust in my dogs buddy

Easy now JimI rather enjoy playing poker on my cell phone during a hunt. It keeps my focus on my dog. I also do it to see if the cast knows the rules and I also do it to see what kind of sportsmanship they have.
Again Jim how is me having my cell phone out a advantage? It's not! If anything most would look at it as a disadvantage because they would think that I am not focusing on my dog and what its doing.
