I used to own one of them. But I have several favorites. 4 Redbones in Iowa, 3 in North Carolina, 2 in Tn, 1 ea in Ohio, Ms, Tx, Ok.

Three of the 14 are T-TOP bred. One direct son of Haze. One Haze granddaughter. One Rage son, Rabble grandson. I wonder if that is just a coincidence?

It is a shame that y'all couldn't get a Redbone qualified.

It is getting awfully close now. I am getting excited and I don't even have a dog qualified.

I talked to several that said their dog treed a coon last night and got rewarded. Everyone said their dog was ready. They are going to rest up tonight and hit the road tomorrow.

Today is the big day. Is anyone getting nervous yet? I bet Hillbilly is on pins and needles. Jacob, make sure your dad knows when the deadline is. Can that old cowboy still make em see red? How about Roc, the 3 yr old off Haze. How is he going to do in his first big hunt? Blake Wheeler is taking Winnie to the Zones in his first year of comp hunting. I wonder what that is like? It took me 20 yrs to get there. I guess we will get some answers tonight.

I don't think the dogs even know what day it is let alone if it's a big hunt or just a one drop turn out. I did not know they could read...Only ones that are nervous are the people Richard stirs up on here. He is like a kid on Christmas morning.... Richard should just load up and go to the nearest zone and be a cheerleader... I know what you are thinking ole buddy. " Didn't Lucas get that Mandy II qualified at Southern Redbone Days"..... Yep. But she has not been acting right. Don't know what ales her. Tried to start hunting her two months ago. Every time I cut her she would run straight for the truck and jump in or hide underneath. Something is up with her and I do not know what it is.Here is a dog that her whole life , when turned loose hunts hard when turned out... Oh well...I got something in the works though...You will be hearing about him soon. Good luck to all. Lucas out.

All 4 got er dun last night. As long as the King of the Cowboys doesn't withdraw or get himself scratched tonight he is going to the Finals again. Shine is the only male in the bunch. One more night now. It is do or die.

Look at that. Four Redbone winners last night, one Pro handler, one old wore out Senior handler, one young man in his first year of comp hunting and one pretty young lady. Talk about diversity....

Daisy is in and Winnie could squeak through but Shine and Pepper have to win again tonight to advance.
