UKC World Championship

All right, Autumn Oaks is over. Reservation deadline has passed and the Zones are only 9 days away now. Is this going to be "The Year"? Is someone going to win that $5,000 this year? Who is it going to be? My money is on Hillbilly and Reggie if Bruce doesn't get a bad case of nerves and choke.
There sure are a bunch of Redbones that got qualified this year but how many are actually going to the Zone Semifinals?

Go get em Roy, the King of the Cowboys. This may be your year since the Finals are in Georgia. But you should change Daisy's name to Dale.

It sounds like their will only be 4 or 5 Redbones going to the Zones. I know that Blake and Winnie are going to Ms. I guess that Shine and Reggie will be at the Iowa Zone again this year. Are any Redbones going to the Tn Zone? Roc will be in NC.

Jinx will be at the NC zone, but as a reminder she's only half a redbone. And, that's assuming hurricane Irma don't wipe us off the map first.

So, Jinx is a crossbred and not a Redbone? Who is going to be her handler?
Only 6 more nights to get them ready. But then if they aren't ready now, you might as well stay home. I bet that Cowboy Roy has been hunting Daisy every night this week.

You should write a book on rhetorical questions. But she's XBred to be clear, get it straight before we start another redbone forum war, my flak jacket is still tattered from the last one.

I'd like to be there but can't, so I have a solid backup. 👍

If I was embarrassed/ashamed to do something then I wouldn't do it. With the advent of the interweb, everyone knows eventually.

I'm just trying to get the hang of secrets as it's required to be part of the redbone world, even if I'm still just "half in". As soon as we win, you'll be the 7-8th to know, I promise.

So, did you live by that same notion in the 60's-70's???

Yep, I was wide open in the 60's, 70's and didn't care. I was proud to be me. If you think that you have to have "secrets" then maybe you have been hanging out with the wrong part of the Redbone world.

There could be more than a couple wrong parts, you'll have to be more specific, name names, no need to be ashamed.

Sorry about that, there are no "wrong" parts. I should have said you don't have to have secrets to be part of the Redbone world. I can see why there was a "Redbone forum war".

Good luck everyone, me and Kitty won't be at the zones, to much work and not enough coonhunting in my life this year, to have her ready to compete. Maybe we will get qualified again next year and make a run at it!

We should know by this evening who is actually going and where. Doesn't sound like there will be many Redbones that think they can compete.

Only 14 Redbones.... And 4 of them will be hunting up in Iowa. I don't even recognize some of the names on that list. Will one of the "big names" win it? Or will some unknown drag Ol' Red out from behind the barn and beat those big names.

I know and who is Johnny Coffman? I swear Redbones grow on trees in their back yard. I'll be rooting for them.

Another name I haven't seen for years is Rocky Elmes out of MN. Man he was hunting some good Blakesley bred stuff when I first started in hunting. Elme's Northern Judd? One of my first redbones was out of his stuff.
