There is only one more week to get them ready and the weatherman said that it is going to rain here for the next 6 days! There are 7 top Gr Nt female Redbones going to hunt this year. Maybe one of them will make it to the Final Four.

Most of the corn up here is 3-4 feet above my head and the coons are in it big time. Have treed over 20 coon in the last 2 nights of hunting around the Marion satelite club in the bright moonlight. Seem to be plenty of kitten coon this year. Should be some good scores.

We got here about 5pm Monday & went pleasure hunting with a great guy that had some very nice woods & plenty of coons. It is very dry & it's going to be rough if we don't get some rain. We hunted 4 Gr.Nts, 2 Nt.ch & 1 pup.

Well another Autumn Oaks has come and gone. A Redbone did not win the overall National Grand Nite Champion but several did an excellant job. Case XX and Nighty Nite T both got in the Top 16. There were a couple more with cast wins that did not have a big enough score for the Top 16. Ben and Jim both won their casts. A Redbone female, Tree Stompin Pepper, got a Nt Ch win. I had a lot of fun and even got to meet one of Indiana's finest on Thursday night.
