See ya'll after the coon collectin is done. Wonder how many will hunt till it's time to get back? Guess that's gonna depend on how the coon are or are not movin.

It aint gonna happen tonight unless Grant County requests mutual aid for a bar fight or something.... Ya guys feel rowdy???? JK My bad for missing this one, have't done much "surfin" lately on here, just check the threads I've already commented on and then away I go.

I wonder what turn out we'd get if I tried gettin a gathering together down this way?? Be closer to middle for Elizabeth guys as well as Arthur guys......

Not a bad idea! If the timing was right, I would come down. That would be good and close to my old stomping ground. Maybe the 2nd or 3rd of January.. hint hint. lol. I know of some good spots that don't get hunted much anymore.

I know there were some big coon competitions back home that were a lot of fun, then I moved down here and I always thought it would be fun to have one down here. Maybe there already is some in the area that I don't know of????

I don't know of any around there, no. I always went to the SWWCHC events, and that was it. I am not really into the competition aspect of the sport so I have never even been to any Elizabeth events. I don't know if they have anything like this or not. And as far as Argyle or Brooklyn, I don't know that either. Hebron has had them in the past, but don't know if they do anymore or not. That was usually opening weekend of season. Sorry i am not much help on that..

Thank's to everyone that supported this event last night. The weather & the depth of the white stuff deffinately had it's impact on the number's unfortunately but we shore'nuff had a good time back at the pub & hunted for that matter.

Best I can tell is there was eight coon brought in. One feller had one coon, another team had three & we harvested four. Coon's where a stirrin pretty good & one of them night's you coulda been power slammin them rite along if'n ya so desired.

Next year we have talked of having some of these earlier in the year for our fair weather freind's so stay tuned !!

sure glad that freezing rain thawed out..the hiway was good..mocking bird hill was a little slick though..shirly defenitley put on a good feast...looks like the next group therapy will be feb 20th at 7pm at cheersII this will be the club banquet and meeting..

Scott, I'll be hunting till February 15th, work schedule permitting, so I don't think TT's is reffering to me???.....

Bruizer is a Rip and Boo pup, I thought Tater was a little older out of Rip and Maggie??? I could be wrong, I've been wrong once before back in '92.
