COON CONTEST SWWCHC Inc.

dec 12 at Cheers II in Preston Wi. Entry fee $5.00 100% payback
Deadline for entry 5pm.
This is a random weight drawed 3 times.
rules are: bring in 1-3 coon any weight before midnight..all coon must be weighed at cheers II before midnight..then three weights will be picked at random from a hat..who ever has a coon closest to the weight drawn without going over will win. this will be done three times..so everone has three chances to win..absolutely no way to cheat because no one knows what the weights will be until all coon are weighed in...Should be a fun time!

Could I get direction's ?...LOL!! Do ya'll let Bludawg's in on this ? Can the coon be frozen ? ..............from last year? Will there be any bubbly soda-pop when it's done ? Age limit of the dawg's?

Can we hunt ridge's or does it hav'ta be holler's?

yes,yes,yes,yes,yes, and as cold as it is, most coon will be frozen!!lol remember guys a 7 pounder has as good of chance to win as a 30 pounder..so there's no reason not to go back to CHEERS II when your done hunting...they will have soda,foam and food...Oh and i'm sure uncle jack will be there too!!lol

brandon gudgeon came over last night and we made a couple drops..the coon were not moving to far from the dens..treed two dens..then had a family emergency and had to cut the hunt short..

I just read your other post. Hope your mom is well.
I'm going to try and make it over to Cheer's II. I'm trying to set up a hunt with the Aub for Fri.
I'd be interested in hunting with somebody if they have room. Be fun to see some blue dogs go. I know Abram likes them. LOL With or with out my dog is fine.

yes, you should be there. because you will way your own coon..so if you lose by 3 ounces!!!you weighed it, i didn't!!!lol it works more like a raffle..its just something to pull some business in to cheers for putting up with us coonhunters...we have a few club hunts up there and also are meeting and supper.. if you can't find anyone to hunt with your welcome to hunt with me..but my coon are scarce!!lol

I'll know that before long here. I'm working a 11 month old Red Fever pup (Tater) He's starting to me to it. So I'm starting single him out tonight. Plus he picked up some kind of bug. Got him straightened out now so it's time to fire him up. If I bring a dog it'd be him. So I may take you up on the tag a long. I'll know Tur. night either way. Flat land only please.

We been gettin in some practice run's. So far we keep gettin lucky but after the snow their a callin for this week it could get interesting but we really like huntin in the snow & I'm sure there will be some out & about to pursue.

Grab your rope's & peton's cuz we're gonna be in the bluff's & tumblin rock's....................

i've got a couple spots i haven't hunted yet,,just saving for the rite time..but they are not real flat but there should be some rickys to chase..just did a test run last night and treed a big bob tailed one then got out of there..the hills and briars were starting to make my company whine a little..

weather is going to turn for worst by sat..12 inches of snow and lows in the 0 digits...this really sucks!! but cheers has heat and plenty of fluid to keep from hypothermia setting in!!!lol i suppose most coon will be frozen..because i don't see a coon moving on sat nite..

Yep some unlucky timing no doubt but...........

The cloud watcher's are sayin a heat wave of upper 20's for saturday. After this -12 this mornin Not sure much is stirrin but there is deffinately a chance if'n ya get along an open creek or close to some den's.................."MAYBE"..LOL!!

Either way be a good gatherin of the mind's & catch up with everybody before we all burrow into the quilt's for the winter.

Even if'n ya don't hunt your still welcome to congragate with us & I got a feeling we won't be waitin till midnite before everyone is back ?
