Thanks everyone. We had a snow storm hit this morning a couple hours before day light, which would have covered any tracks made last night. We took the day off to get rested up and ready to hit it again tomorrow.

All the young dogs are doing about as well as you could expect them to. Brian and I are loving our Luke X Lightfoot pups (Venom & Smoke). Smoke is already a loud, hard, sit down tree dog with alot of class about him. They are both super clean on the tree so far.

hard work, an dedications have payed off for us--I hav'nt been
able to hunt Tazer much the last couple weeks he cut the bottom
of his foot pretty bad---

Well today was Gambler's day to shine. He ended up off by himself and got the cat treed. Then we got the young ones in for a little more training. This was Grinder's 1st lion and he almost got a mouthful when she jumped and ran. Mercy turned it up a notch on the tree. Smoke, Venom, Mercy, and Minnie are all dialed right in and I expect Grinder will probably be performing at the same level as the rest after another lion or two. What an impressive group of young hounds. This has been alot of fun seeing them progress so quickly.

Thanks guys. It's (-14 F) right now, and it's supposed to be (-22 F) in the morning. But we found a good track this afternoon, so we're heading out in the morning to see if we can get him tracked down.

Burrrrr Cold

It was (-38 F) this morning at daylight. We waited until it warmed up to about (-15 F) before we turned the dogs loose. Sage got him lined out and we got the rest in to her. I hope it's a little warmer tomorrow. LOL
