Yeah that is crazy. Jonny is going to take Magnum, Frank and Curly this year for bear. He should take Aggie too but she has a very important duty to fulfill right now. I would imagine her grandbabies should be popping out in the next two weeks.

We will pick Jackie up this weekend when we drop Baby off with Robert and pick up Zeylina. Axle will enjoy playing with Jackie. He loves new playmates whenever I bring them down from the kennel to the house.

Well remember how Pac was at first, now look at him. We never set a timeline for our guys. They are like kids, they beat to their own drums. We just make sure they have every avenue open for them to be successful.

Not sure what time Jonny will get home from Nathan's. I would imagine they will hunt most the night on Saturday so it may be late Sunday afternoon.

One is Hunting Coon in Mich.
One is in British Col. as a Lion/Bear Hound
Several Females are Pleasure Coon Hounds

Ice, sister to Pac is in the Salem area. She is doing great. She was running and treeing her own coon at 10 months. Good looking female. Magnum is at our place and has been on bear and coon. He is scheduled to be breed to our Crystal next year. Magnum has a cold nose and chops on tree. You can see both on our website at

Where did the two "English" looking hound in the bottom link end up going? How old are they in the video?

The 2 English "Looking" Hounds are my Boys SLK's "Red Hammer I" and SLK's Tree Nailor"

Hammer is 3/4 Bluetick X 1/4 Red Bloodhound (He's the Open Redtick Hound)

That is Nailor and Hammer and they both are at Steve's. They are half brothers to our Bam Bam. Hammer is the sire to Cotton Eye Joe and the granddad to Frosty Blues. He is the open red tick.

Any Male that can stand up to Queen KONG is a Big Boy !!!

I would guess He weighs at least 115# ..

That big boy in the kennel is Bam Bam. Nailor and Hammers half brother. He is my baby. He is deadly on a coon.

The walker dog is out of Edd's White Oak Tiger (Champ, Zip, Sackett) and Edd's White Oak Fancy (Old Factory, Bear Crk Rib, Stylish Rank, Pacman, Bozo, Finley River Trap) There is no mistake when this dog gets treed.

Well I have a 32" inseam .. And all I know is Nailor had to be atleast a 29" Hound if not abit more !!
Pacs in the Photo above is almost 27"

Heck most all of my hounds are not much bigger than 28"

Nailor was a big dog but not huge, Jess is a short guy. I bred to him twice. Probably owned 10 dogs directly out of him besides the pups.

Hey Steve,

Took Buddy to the vet the other day and yes he is 115 lbs. Big boy. We went out Saturday night and took him and Axle. Treed once but the rain came in so we left before we got too wet. That dog is a horse and loud.

I took Bam Bam for a walk yesterday and he started tracking and opened up a bit. I discovered he was tracking a bear. By the paw print it looked like it might be around 250 to 300 lbs. He has been down in the sand bar on the creek in front of our house. Bam Bam was wanting to work it out but the bear crossed the road right there and that is not a good spot.

Hey Steve,

I took this of Magnum today on a den tree we have down by the creek at the house. I should have our bigger dog box in a few weeks so he and Bam Bam will ride more comfortably instead of in that smaller dog box we have now.

Absolutely. I have had so many calls wanting a pup out of him but just could never settle on a female. It took me three years but I do believe Crystal will be the one. Just have to hunt them this next year together to make sure they compliment each other. His comformation, mouth, nose and temperment are ideal. Just have to see how they compare to Miss Crystal so it turns out as a good litter.
