Rick, sorry to hear of the loss..............glad you got extra time........I know what it's like as I was going through the end last year this time with one with same thing.
SO SORRY
We're so sorry for your loss, Rick... You are right... being "ready" isn't realistic. Jack is in your hearts always, and you in his. You gave him a GREAT life. You were lucky. Loss is never easy but we have come to terms with the fact that... if we out live our animals...we will suffer loss...and we will keep having our beloved animals.... They FILL our hearts.....
