Well, we're on antibiotics for the rest of the week. She has to keep the inhaler indefinitely until another x-ray in 2 wks to check for lung damage. Assuming it is normal, she can decrease her inhaler dosage and slowly wean off of it. The doctor said there may be some minor lung damage we'll have to watch in the future, but the bad stuff seems to be over!
