nice pic. dan, how did you get the boys out hunting last night. i thought dawayne was bowling for daryl because of his knee..sounds like you had a good hunt..

I think Daryl was tired of being cooped up in the house when I called him. He said his knee felt good last night. He thought it might have been the pain killers lubing it up though lol.

Dan, i stayed up till midnight to see how the hunt went. the later it got, the more worried i got..i hope rocket handled OK for ya. i was thinking about you guys running the country trying to catch him..you never know how a dog will react to a stranger the first night.

Dan, Daryl said every tree you guys had last night looked like an electrical storm with all the flash bulbs going off from yours and tims cameras..lol and none of the pics. turned out. what happened? did you get dog slobber on the lenses!!LOL

2 drops 2 trees 2 coon

Sally is out of heat now so I took her and my cur Lilo for a run tonight. The first drop Sally struck a track 30 seconds off the tailgate. She worked wide open to the bottom of the hill then half ways up the otherside. She probably pushed the track 250-300 yards. Sally located twice and started to ROAR on the tree. About 5 seconds after Sally located Lilo fell in behind her treeing right along with her. They had the meat! I pet them up good and headed back to the truck.

Second drop. I took them to a spot where I cut them up a valley that has a small creek running up the middle of it. About 6 or 7 minutes in Sally started a track on one hillside, worked it across the bottom in front of me then up onto the otherside. I could tell this one wasn't as hot as the last one. Sally was pecking away at it working it down the ridge away from me when my Cur, Lilo, slammed a tree out in front of Sally. I could tell that Lilo really liked this one. About 30 seconds after Lilo started to tree Sally got in there, located and started to blow the top out of that tree too. They were on a smaller tree and I could see the coon on the way into this one too. Lilo for the most part is silent. I think she snuck out in front of this one and pushed him up this tree I know there is alot of dens close to where we were.

I pet them up real good and ended it on a high note. Here's a few pics.

Dave, just saw this. Here is what I got of Rocket that night. Some night I get real good pics others not so much. And yes dog slobber on the lens can be a problem.

dan, me and daryl went out last night. we had Moe, Bucky and bawlie. i think Daryl was impressed with the way Bawlie can throw it in PARK. moe and bawlie got under a coon in the first drop and bucky took a track over the hill and treed split but was a den. turned moe and bawlie out the next drop and treed another but was a little to ruff of a track for bawlie to do much. then we turned bucky and bawlie out on the next drop, ran a smokin hot track but got to a den tree again. bawlie was trying to run another on his own but finally gave up on it or it ended in ogdens old junk machinery pile..

Sounds like you guys had a good one last night. That's great that Bawlie is really starting to turn it on for you.

I've ended in that junk pyle at Ogdens before. It is no fun with Lilo I spent an hour one night trying to get her out of that tangled up mess. She got cut up on some sharp metal and tore the antenna off her tracking collar.

Still here! I bet we got 4-5" of rain today. Didn't get much for high winds out of the tornado. We did get a nice shot of hail out of it though . I was wondering how you fared out of that tornado. I almost had myself talked into going hunting between the storms tonight. Glad I didn't, it is raining so hard right now the satelite tv isn't even working. lol My new Tracker came in today. Can't wait to try it out. You going to be able to sneak over to the club hunt tomorrow night?

Dan, all the bottom ground around me is flooded bad. its over the roads everywhere... i'll be going to the club hunt..theres a ukc hunt at argyle sat. nite. that tornado was first spotted on whig rd over by union, just a couple miles from here...i seen the funnel cloud but it wasn't on the ground when i seen it..but the air sure got a chill to it when it passed over..

hey Dan

snuggles came over for a hunt last night, we turned bawlie loose by himself over in schmit'ys timber. man it was almost as thick as the greenwood drop... bawlie did a nice job, i had to squall to find the coon and boy was it nervous..snuggles thought i was pulling his leg till he came over to my side of the tree..then i squalled again and the coon ran down the tree into a clear spot!!snuggles was impressed..the first time he has hunted with bawlie.. sure wish the puppy hunt wasn't so expensive, i would of liked to have made the trip down there..keep forgetting the camera..

Yep! Took her out Monday night. She got treed by herself with 2 coon on the outside on the first drop. Second drop One of the other dogs got in a hole and she came in late. Third drop we had three dogs out. All three were working seperate tracks and they were COLD. After about 1/2 an hour of coldtrailing she fell treed at the same time as Dave's Sassy dog on a huge old den tree. It didn't look good when we got there but there was two on the outside.
