You know I bet that's what you were thinking last year when they made it to the final 4. Wonder what all you Kentucky fans were doing? I'm suprised all you didn't convert to the real wilcats. Kentucky may have a better tournament record over all but it's not even close over the past decade. I thought people forgot about basketball in Kentucky? Oh that's right only people from Kentucky still believe in them.

Lets see South Carolina put it ion them again!!!!!! I hope Downey scores 40 on them, they can't stop him.

The SEC matchup last night between Florida and Tennessee was a very slopy played game. Watch the Georgtown vs. Louisville game. That's real basketball.

Oak, you are right though Scotty Reynolds, Antonio Pena, Reggie Redding, Cory Stokes know nothing about winning games in the NCAA tournament as they have only made it to the sweet 16 as well as a final 4.

Kentucky has so much experience in the tournament right? HAHA Oh that's right they have none.

No with 10 wins in the nations toughest confrence they will make the NCAA tournament.

I had to laugh at Kentucky's last year team. It had to be embarassing being a Ky fan.

"The low had to come early in the season when UK lost, at home, to Gardner-Webb, 84-68."

"They did get to the NCAA tournament but lost in the first round to Marquette, 74-66. UK finished the season with a record of 18-13."

How on earth they made the tournament still has me scratching my head. The name Kentucky, that's how. They were nothing shy of horrible last year. Villinova has 3 of it's starting five final 4 team and you better bet they will be ready to win.

Yea ..Gardner- Webb was Billy G's first Actual game.2007-2008.Thats when I gave up on Gillispie ,

I have been watching quite a bit of Big East ball here lately ,and in my opinion the whole conference is overrated.

How is it over rated? This question isn't meant to be sarcastic i'm serious? What makes the confrence overated?

Villinova plays South Florida tonight and on a good night they are capable of beating anyone. When the third to last team in a major confrence can knock off a top ten team that says it all.

Amlomst every Big East team is capable of beating anyone, with the exception of DePaul and Rutgers.

Posted by kycooner1 on 02-24-2010 07:33 PM:

Well..actually after reading your comments is were I made the conclusion the league is overrated.

We beat Louisville and U Conn and you say its because we beat the sorry teams in the league,Yet I watch these 2 teams play in conference play ,and there always competing and winning on the higher ranked teams in the league. So one can only conclude ,that we beat these 2 teams for their lack of talent, but they can compete at the same level with other teams in the big East. The conference is definitely overrated.

Thats what hurts you Treberta, you are WRONG SO MUCH on FACTS. How can Someone care about your opinion? Not knocking you, just trying to help you, try to know a little about what you say is True, Kentucky did Not go to the NCAA last year, OR Lose to Marquette.

villinova in the last decade has 11 NCAA Tourn. wins, 1 Final Four, 1 Elete Eight, and 2 Sweet Sixteens, Kentucky has 17 NCAA Tourn. Wins, 3 Elete Eights, 2 Sweet Sixteens And That was Our Worst Decade In HISTORY of Kentucky Basketball and Possibly villinova's Best.

Here is the REALwildcats

Kentucky has the titles, tradition, consistent success, iconic coaches and the passionate fan base to make it No. 1 on the list of greatest programs.

And really, there shouldn’t be much debate about No. 1. The Wildcats have a lengthy tradition to match North Carolina, Kansas and Indiana. Like Duke, they’re among the perennial title contenders. And if any school comes close to dominating the hoops landscape like UCLA did, it’s Kentucky, which won four NCAA titles and an NIT trophy between 1946 and 1958.

No matter how one measures success, Kentucky’s résumé has it.

Kentucky is No. 1 in wins win percentage (75 percent), NCAA tournament appearances (50).
The Wildcats are 2nd in NCAA championships (7) and regular-season conference titles (49).
Kentucky is tied for 4th most Final Four appearances (13) and is sixth in NCAA tourney win percentage (.6897), though they do have the most victories in the Big Dance (100).
The ‘Cats have missed an NCAA tournament ONCE since 1991. Only Arizona and Kansas have longer current streaks.
They’ve also won the NIT twice. They were 3rd, 1st and 2nd in a 4-year span in the 40s when the NIT was perhaps the nation’s premier tournament.
Only UCLA and North Carolina have produced more NBA players.
Kentucky’s been dominant the last 15 years, including 9 seasons with at least 25 wins. Just Duke and Kansas have more.
The ‘Cats have had 15 players named consensus All-American 20 times (the most) and have been atop the AP poll 80 weeks (behind UCLA, Carolina and Duke). Oddly enough, no player has ever been AP player of the year, or won the Wooden or Naismith awards.
Perhaps the biggest testament to Kentucky’s overall dominance? They’re always a contender. Always.

And you what makes it even more comical? Treberta is Crowing about a Decade where Kentucky and villinova are relatively EQUAL, and we were so dissapointed in that Decade, we complained so much one Coach left, and we Strait up Fired another. LMAO
