 | Mulberries are small here in Maryland this year, but there’s tons of them. Hedgerows and edges are loaded with coons right now. No pear or apple trees to speak of. Pawpaws and persimmons are looking good but not even close to ripe. Wild cherry and raspberries are getting close and look good. One big domestic cherry tree I know of had Quarter size sweet black cherries that were ripe the 2nd week of May. There were 4 or 5 coons in that tree all night every night for 3 wks until the fruit was gone. __________________Josh Daniels
