I’m getting well enough to riding along coonhunting. I’m thinking about a new light but I’ve been sidelined so long I don’t have a clue what a good light is nowadays. Opinions along with prices are appreciated.

Alot of Good Lights out there these days and they all have alot of options and some have too many options.
Customer Service is a must for me and that's why I go with Superior Lights, they have been doing things right for many many years and they will answer their phone when you call. Another Top Notch Company is Cajun Lights......you can't go wrong with either Company.
Other Good options are :

* Sunspot Lights
* Laser Torch Lights

A new Light will cost between $300 - $360

Im liking my hellkitten by superior.Their customer service is good.He made mine for me with one red and one amber and they are plenty brite.I have to have a amber for bugs.Changed my main beam from natural to bright white for me at no charge.Natural beam didnt work for me.If you want a cheaper lighter weight caplight the wisdom is good.If i didnt coonhunt alot thats all id need.Also good light around the house.Used mine alot for four years and still going strong.

In today's world there isn't much of a quality issue in lights. They are plenty bright enough, and durable enough for what we do. What sells the lights to me is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Lifetime warranty means nothing if you cant get ahold of the manufacturers.

I've used Superior lights for a long time with no problems other than regular wear and tear. The Hellcat lights are really nice. Like others have said, there are a lot of good lights now, all priced pretty close together. Glad to see you're doing better. Jr.Steelman

I use the bright eyes Viper XL and really like it.
with that said I don't think there's a Nickle difference in any of the top lights.
