Parvo

Have any of you raised a pup that survived parvo and made a usable hound? I was told parvo ruins their noses. Is there any truth to this?

Dual gr Rock River Stylish Sue overcame parvo, was number 4 living reproducer, with 28000 plus pup earnings in pkc. So I don't see where parvo has any lasting effects on anything. Some will argue this and that, but right there is living proof. But every dog is different.

Thanks. I hope mine can do one-tenth as good as Sue.

Grnitech 2 Ripley Rivers "lucky" Luke

Got his name from being lucky enough to beat parvo.
I belive it caused lasting health issues but his nose worked good.
