Pennsylvania hound owners

Please read " HB1299 " that has been sent to the Agriculture committee, If my informant is correct a license will be required to sell any dogs, It would be under the title of a do gooder bill aimed at puppy mills , it will be called 'Victoria's law' , The wording in the bill would require a license to sell dogs by 'responsible' breeders. We already have some of the harshest dog / puppy mill laws in the country.

Where did you go to read the text of this bill. A Google search is not turning up much as far as details go.

Victoria's Law

Go to Humane Pa.- the humane society is really pushing it- it will tell you all about it, There is a senator from Philly that is pushing it again, it was on Philly TV last week, It has a massive amount of sponsors from both sides of the legislature. Would end all sales of dogs, cats and rabbits in pet stores also, unless the animal is from a shelter.

I had found that. It's not enough info. I can't click down to get details.

In the recent past, I've seen details that said something to the effect that it would not affect those that raised 3 litters or less per year (not sure if that was related to this bill or another). That would be fine. But, if it extended to any buying or selling of dogs or puppies, that would be a problem.
