Lights!!!

When I coon hunted back in school and shortly after (2000-2010) time frame, the LED light market hadn't really kicked off yet. People like me and probably most hunters were toting around lights from 6v Nite-lite to 28v Bright Eyes and many brands and models in between. My question is what sets new lights apart from each other in todays market? Are all the battery volts the same now? If all brands are selling LED styles, what sets the competitors apart? Is it the brightness? which i feel most would be a close comparison. Any and all information would be greatly appriciated.

Warranty,Weight,Features wanted as far as colors,Balance on your head, cap used,How many switches needed to operate.Service after the sale..Still as many or actually more differences from the period you hunted in but as far as all lights a major advancement from four pound belt and box lights.

Thank you for the responses. Silly question, do any of these companies make their versions of LED lights in the belt light form? I’m not a fan of the battery box on the hat.

Can only speak for couple of them but Sunspot, outlaw and Dakota makes what is called a long cord..Same size battery box with a clip for your belt or small enough to put in your bibs back pocket if you want..Of course for the bibs pocket a light will need a switch on the head .
