Breaking big ears

Does anyone have suggestions on how to break a dog from covering other dogs ?

Get you a buddy and another dog. Cut the other dog in there and have your buddy stand in there with the other dog treed. Cut yours in there and have him correct your dog. Never with a hand tho. This is what iv had luck with but it depends on the dog. Some take correction and are fine and some will shut down on you. Iv had dogs shut down over correction like this and IV had some that don't mind. If you make progress with your dog on this don't allow it to go back to covering even if in a cast. Iv withdrew dogs winning a cast because they got lazy and covered late.
I'd also add that solo time is huge to build confidence and can help a dog be more independent.
Good luck 🤞
