Why on earth would you sell her cheaper without her papers? What is your reasoning behind this?

Really dont wanna see her bred again..ill show papers to anyone that wants to see them.. just an old dog id like to part with just aint giving her away for someone to breed till she is dead..

Joseph, imagine buying a car and being told they would take less without the title.

I think most wonder what value the papers would have to you without the dog. Could make someone assume a fella wanted to use the papers to put on another dog or something.

I assume that's not you would be doing, but can see why it can look odd.

Not accusing anyone, you asked why people thought it was odd... I floated a theory as to why it may look odd, and said I assume you were not doing anything fishy. Don't worry about what others think. Good luck selling the dog. Next time your are in Wyoming look me up and I'll take you hunting.

I have sold dogs cheap or given away alot of good registered dogs through the years without paper just so they didnt have to sit in my pen or I didnt want the hassle of trying to sell them , when I moved on to the next to hunt..I always have 2 prices ,with papers or without..there is always somebody looking for a good dog that will hunt and take care of it but dont have the money to buy one..

Maybe he likes to keep his old papers I got some from back in the 80s I like to get out sometimes and look at to remember how some dogs were bred he paid good money for them why should you send them back to Ukc.

I have told everybody that has called or text she is free without papers.. if u need proof she is a grandnite i have the papers and references.. not gonna give her away and see somebody selling pups off her in a few months tho.. i am not trying to make a dime on this deal.. she would make a great pup trainer or pleasure dog..

I think you are all missing the point.It's not that he think's she's not breeding stock,or that he's up to no good.He thinks a lot of the dog and don't want someone to get her and breed her to death,in her old age.You see people on here all of the time selling ten years or older females for brood females or pups for sale off of them,without regard to the wear on them.Anyone that knows me will tell you I usually keep my old dogs until they die and I spay all of my females regardless of how good of a reproducer they are.If they are good enough for me to keep, they are guaranteed a good life and won't be used and abused.

If your not gonna keep the dog you don’t need to keep the papers. They should go wherever the dog goes that’s their papers not the owners

If you buy her you get the papers and can breed her to death . So I really dont think you care about the old girl. just keep her and feed her good and all will be good
