Hot collar
I'll give this a shot, I understand what your saying you'll get varied opinions I'm sure, this is a very fine line in my view, young dogs learn to work a bad track by doing so experience is the best teacher, they never get better by not trying, moving a young dog along off a track there hung up on to me would best be done with Tone...not shock which would require your dog to be collar broke, I'm not big on shocking my dog off desired game only in emergency cases, but I will tone mine to come in or move on with me at times, hope this helps.....
