Tick Diseases

Thought it would be interesting to see how many on this board have a dog or have had a dog with tick disease.

I've had two dogs with tick diseases, rocky mountain spotted fever and don't know the other. I've had both lymes and spotted fever many times over the years myself.

I've had several. Spent a ton of money on all the whiz bang new tick meds, spot-ons, chews, collars, etc. and never see a tick or flea, but still have dogs end up with it.

Never had a dog with a tick disease. I use Hartz Ultra Guard from Walmart. I spray Permethrin on my chaps to keep the ticks off me.
