What would be the fun in that. I have to keep my ADD brain active. It helps with Oldtimers Desease. I refuse to go quietly.

Good idea.
The new changes are not even in effect yet and so many are already suggesting all these changes.

Newport

Excellent post. Sounds like the ones that really count are welcoming these changes. Naysayers just like to stir the pot, thinking everything is all about them. Myself, I am proudly looking forward to a UKC CHAMPION that wins a big prize and the World Title, we won't be second fiddle to any other Registry after this. Everyone talks about one being better solely due to them winning money over a title, well now you can do both. Hopefully, some of those top $KC dogs will show up , no more excuses why they won't hunt, this would make our hunt a hunt of Champions, truly prestious. Kudos UKC, Dave

I think it will help draw some that wouldn’t normally hunt in ukc. There will still be some that won’t enter because of Past issues. You can’t please everybody no matter how hard you try. I think it is a good thing that ukc is willing to try some new things.

Let’s break this down, there is 5 clubs in less than a hour from me, I’m a member of 2, one of these have 12 club meetings with a buddy Hunt, we have 5 UKC hunts, we have 7 PKC hunts, that’s 24 hunts that our members go to not counting the Winner Classic, AO, Grand American an Walker Days! Several months a year there is 3 UKC hunts on the same night in less than an hour from each other, These members do not have time or the cash to support another club, these club members keep the doors open the only way to make extra money is bring in independent hunters (hunters that don’t join a club) but they have 5 clubs to choose from, that’s not UKC’s responsibility, I do blame UKC for not keeping up with the rules they started with like requiring a list of active members, President, Vice President an club bi-laws before give a club UKC hunt dates, I know of one club that is run by a stud owner, they have 5 members and he brings in hunters to Hunt offsprings from his stud and keeps him on the reproducers list, no bi-laws no Vice President.
