Pretty sure my female had trouble with a coyote

Walking to her treed I could hear her start growling and aggressive barking. I hollowed, she shut up but stayed at the tree until I got there. When I've had coyote trouble it always has been with a female

blinking light

Do you run flashing/blinkng led lights on your dogs collar?
I'm in very southern Mi.,loaded with Coyote.Never had a problem with them as long as dogs were lighted or blinking collars.
