I am sure thankful for nights like last night. Clear, crisp, bright and every star was out. I could hear my dog's chop ringing through the ridges for a mile. It sure made me glad to be alive and healthy enough to still get out and go to her, Thank you Lord. Now I am going to go eat turkey and dressing until I can't move. I won't be able to get off the couch tonight.
Some of my fondest memories are of getting together with family for Thanksging at the old homestead. There would be about 20 people there. My dad had 4 brothers. All of my uncles and cousins would go rabbit hunting in the morning. I wonder how many families still go hunting as a tradition on Thanksgiving?

Loved your post about last nights hunt and remembering your family tradition at Thanksgiving. This post brought back many fond memories to myself if years gone by.
