Oh my goodness, I keep hearing rumors of "big changes" that are coming. When will the "official" announcement take place? Will they be announced on the stage at AO? Will they be written down and passed out? Will the details be posted on the message board? Will they be in this month's Bloodlines?
How come only a certain few people have seen them? Rumors are flying everywhere. We all know that y'all have them finalized now. When will we get to see them?

One rumor that I heard is that everyone would hunt together and only cast wins would be counted. This will actually make it easier to title a dog. And old deep and lonely consistent cast winner will have the advantage. You won't need a big score. Now that is the rumor that I heard but I don't know if it is true or not. I wish that UKC would let us know.

I’ve heard multiple rumors and if they pan out, UKC has just went a long way towards righting the ship and becoming very relevant with serious competition hunters again.

The focus it sounds will be at a cast win level where it should be and a phenomenal world hunt program.

Fingers crossed facts are released soon and we can retire the rumors.

I have heard that there will soon be Professional UKC coonhunters. It sounds like us poor old amateurs are going to soon be a thing of the past. But at least we will have our memories of the good old days before the changes.

I heard that TAR was going to be HBMOH [ HONEY BUN MASTER OF HOUNDS] Would not have to officiate any hunts but would judge the various brands of honeybuns. I wonder how he got that job? Sounds like he has been kissing up! Lol. Dave

Donnie, scores won't count....no first, second, third, fourth. And Nt Ch's will just have to beat a couple of registered pups to get a cast win.

Richard nothing new when you go to the $$$ elimination style hunts you are hunting that way you might have a two year old hunting against three platinum champions.

Scores shouldn't count. Repeatedly winning your cast should. And I'd think they would also increase the number of cast wins for a title. I also think if UKC achieves what they're trying to you will also see a grand nite or two sprinkled into that cast with the nt ch and a registered pup. That's what I'd like to see anyway.

No matter what they change it aint gonna make numbers go up ,,you cant invent more dogs and hunters ,most are getin old and these young guys aint gonna hunt they would rather stay home and stare at a screen !
