The new amount is what our refuge permits have cost in the delta in MS for the last 10 years lol. But they keep the roads up and they put money back into it.

It reads like its a yearly permit to do everything. I think its a good thing. Tons of coonhunters pour in there every year and they do not care much for us. If we create a good revenue stream for them it would help protect us a lot.

$25 is cheap to get to hunt there. I can't believe they haven't done it a lot sooner.

What does it cost for an out of State hunter to run coon, and shoot them during kill season there?

You need a small game non resident. A annual one is $110 a 5 day one is $70 and now you if they pass this you will need a $25 permit.

i think if you are from out of state you should have to pay 500 $ per week and have to draw a permit in a lottery with only 20 spots a week open . not only would it bring in more revenue for ark game and fish it would make it not as much of a hassle for me find a place to cast my dog because of over crowding lol

Joe you claim to be a businessman you should know. The other 20% if you read and understand goes to fee analysis, permits issued through a third party vender, public notification, government fees, labor and other associated costs...whereas the 80% goes to offset costs and make the actual improvements to operation and maintenance that you see in the reserve.

Those would cost more than 20% so try again
