Drontal (Drontal Plus) for Dogs Description
Drontal Allwormer tablets also known as Drontal Plus in the US is a tablet for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm). Drontal or Drontal Plus for dogs is a tablet formulation of three distinctly different proven drugs offering the broadest spectrum of activity in controlling intestinal worms. The febantel/pyrantel combination is active against roundworms and is highly effective against whipworms. Praziquantel provides a superb level of efficiency against all tapeworms
Not cheap, once every 6 mo. seems to work.

i switch out wormers on my dogs like i do my horses- i use zimmectrin gold (ivermectin), safeguard and panacur. all the paste horse wormer. i use a little squirt of the paste on my finger and i stick it down their throat and make sure they swallow it. i give it once a month and use the ivermectin more often than the other 2- i.e. ivermectin, safeguard, ivermectin, panacur, ivermectin, and so on... thats just what i do but i never have any issues with worms

It’s good stuff. 1cc per 20lbs 3 days in a row to clean up a dog. Then 1cc per 10lbs monthly as preventative.

I also have used the safeguard goat wormer to switch things up.

For a 50 to 60 pound dog they get 5 cc each day for 3 days, this is what a Vet told me to use. Great stuff and does the job.

I tried the Goat Wormer, for one its a very small bottle at Tractor Supply.
But My Dogs still had Tapes after 2 different Wormings less than 2 months.

It's Valbaazen for my dogs........it's Worth the extra Price.

Wormer

This is best I've found. 1 pill worms 20 lbs. 1 bottle has 100 pills it's 165.00 a bottle. 1 time a month kills em all
Also do 1/4 cc per 50lbs of ivomec 1 time a month for heartworm prevention
