Rip Sage - Ranger X L's Windy

Hunting Friday night and Little Sage circled back around behind me and got in the road and was killed by a car. When I got there her lights on her collar were still blinking. Didn't sleep friday night trying to figure out what we did wrong. Thanks Richard for selling me this pup. She was gonna be a good one. At seventeen month she was doing it all and getting better all the time. Only the second hunting dog I have gotten
out of the road since 1965.

Tough break don't beat yourself up over it. I hope you get another one you like.

I was real sorry to hear that Mike. It is a shame that the good ones seem to be the ones that get hit. Sage was from a real nice litter. I lost mine from that litter to a heat stroke. It almost makes you sick. Good ones can take years to get and then poof they are gone in an instant.

Sage

It's a hard pill to swallow, loosing a good young dog. Sorry for your lose.
You must be doing things right, to loose only 2 in 52 years. Every time we turn loose we put them in harms way. Now a days it's either take that risk or not hunt at all.
Hope you can get behind another good one soon.

Sage

Thanks so much guys. I have two young females doing good and Richard has hooked me up with another pup out of Wendy. She should be ready by next year.
I am still in the game. Good hunting to you all.
