I invested in one once but y'all still said that my pictures were not good enough. I could never figure out just what "resolution" meant. I think that it means "we are not going to use any of your pictures".
Now a days, you can pick up a decent pocket camera for $120 or less. My favorite is the Canon brand. And, if you get on Canon's website, you can pick up refurbished ones cheaper - https://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/...;pageSize:&
Right now, they don't have many on there, but watch that link when it comes close to Black Friday and you'll get a steal. I've purchased multiple refurbished cameras and they never disappoint.
Make sure the settings are turned up to the highest quality and you should have decent pictures that are cover materiel.
Now if you want really nice super high quality, I'm talking you can see every hair on a dog, get a Digital SLR. Be prepared to pay for this kind and a good lens. Low end you'll pay $500, high end $1,000 and WAY on up.
