A man wins the World Hunt, his dog is a cross bred mongrel mutt

Another mans dog really ain't that good and the excuse is hunting terrain is the issue

The judge screws some of them

The list goes on and on.

I remember a time when hunters congratulated the winner and at least if they were jealous little men they talked about him behind their back not on social media boards.

If I was the Georgia club I wouldn't want to host a hunt anymore. The scrutiny the computer screen hunters put on them is ridiculous. They worked hard to pull this major 3 day event off. And most of us didn't have a dog in top 100 and those of us that didn't have no comment to make.

I have never made a post of this nature but I never thought I would see this board have so many people jabbing at the accomplishments of a man or the hard work a club put into host a hunt.

Continue on men, you just showing proof on why clubs and participants are declining.

When the world finals were in Elizabethtown, Ky a few years back there were a lot of complaints then too. Not enough coon, terrain was horrible, etc., (not on the casts that I guided or judged) but not everyone got to hunt coon infested river bottoms so they complained. lol.

And, yes, I went to the finals in Elberton. The people in the community that I met were very nice and supportive to the hunters that were there. My hat is off to them for a job well done putting on this hunt.

Just as with everything in life, some of the posts and opinions expressed on this board are disgusting to some but not to others. But some of them are pretty nice. Just because we think that some people's opinions are disgusting doesn't mean that the whole board is disgusting. Thank goodness we have this board to express our opinions on and see or read what other people's opinions are. I am just glad that I live in the United States of America where everyone can express their own disgusting opinion for all to see.

This dog and handler did what they were suppose to I'm glad for them congrats our coon hunting sportsmanship has went down the drain. He did a lot of winning before winning the world sure wasent no big surprise he won a real coon dog will tree them anywhere put down they all had the same chance in that cast congrats Robbie and sambo.

This is the thing.....
You got people whining about the whiners......LOL

People complained about the High Scores at Autumn Oaks, now they complain about the Low Scores at the World Hunt.

I think the World Needs to be moved around, but the Final Cast needs to be where there are Coons.....Not just a Coon.
Here in Northern Indiana, people think that because we have plenty of Coon it should be easy to tree plenty.....Not the case, multiple Coon mean multiple tracks = multiple mistakes.

You don't see the World going to Texas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, etc......Wonder why ?.,...🤔

Sambo did what he was supposed to do......Win a World Hunt with Plus Points.

its so funny !! that a X breed dog comes along and wins it !! and not one of those all gran type dogs!! high caliber stud dog !!!flavor of month type !!and a few think it dosnt qualify because it dosnt fit there requirements of a breed !!well for those that thk a coondog cant win it !! Like someone said i believe a well knowned guy !! tell them to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! themselves !!!

Three or four people is not everybody. If you look back and count you will see that the vast majority of people are congratulating Sambo. But I guess that, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". There are a lot more people complaining about the people complaining than there are people complaining about x breds.

Here are my two cents and ill never post again on any of these matters....people complain about the hunting, and thats what it is HUNTING. Same as fishing..i know theres fish in the lake but some days they bite good some days they dont. Some nights coon stir, some nights they dont. I dont recall any of the 3 going yonder to find another track last night..it happens. Some nights dogs operate some nights they dont. I say that to say this..before you criticize clubs, states, dogs, hunting terrain or people remember that there are some of us who have to hunt under those conditions every night. Ive had folks come hunt say they'd quit if had to hunt like that every night..other nights its a cake walk. Lets take the blinders off, congratulate all of the finalists and men who worked hard to give their time to the sport to put on the event and give thanks to the Lord above for giving you the opportunity.. And ad far as Little Sambo goes i dont care if hes pink polkadotted hes won at EVERY major level and deserves a big honey bun...Congrats to all!

People keep talking about the area not having coon its been in the 90s all week when its that hot around here its not unusual for them to come down in the middle of the day to get water also I've talked to a lot of people who have Deer feeders out who say the pictures are 3:00 am when the coon are feeding.I heard a lot of people talk about seeing coon setting up that dogs missed but nobody is talking about this .I know one place that was hunted in the semi finals that the dogs blew thru so fast they went by no telling how many coon.I personally seen Sambo tree 3 singles in a 1 hour hunt last winter in the same place and no coon have been shot in there.But most of the complainers were not even at the hunt.

Who is complaining about the hunting? Its the same as it is here. I will say in spots it is a little hard to judge a cast.

One thing for sure if I had a decent dog and was interested in hunting the world, would not have fooled with it this year I have no desire to hunt in Georgia or anywhere in that region. Congrats to the winner!!!
